Suspension Sulfur 800 SC

Suspension Sulfur 800 SC is a contact fungicide and acaricide. It is intended to protect field, fruit and vegetable crops and vineyards against fungal pathogens and mites.

Composition and properties

  • Sulfur (S): 800 g/L.
  • Density: 1.40–1.50 kg/L.

The active ingredient is high-quality sulfur in a stable suspension. Unlike dry colloidal sulfur, the product disperses evenly in water and forms a uniform suspension that remains on the leaf surface. The Ukrainian product description attributes its effect to sulfur vapor around the plant, which suppresses fungal pathogens without penetrating plant tissues.

Action

  • Suppresses fungal pathogens and mites.
  • Helps protect plants against repeated infestation.
  • Provides active sulfur vapor and uniform leaf coverage.

Application

Vineyards: For preventive treatment, apply a 0.5% solution twice before flowering, 8–10 days apart. At the first signs of disease, apply a 0.5% solution twice, 8 days apart.

Orchards: For preventive treatment, apply a 0.25–0.5% solution before and after flowering, 10–14 days apart. At the first signs of disease, apply a 0.5% solution.

Spray during the growing season at the first signs of disease or mites. Use a freshly prepared solution in the morning or evening in dry, calm weather, covering the plant surfaces evenly. The Ukrainian product page lists 20–28 °C as the optimal treatment range.

Spray solution volume

  • Fruit and berry crops: 800–1,200 L/ha, depending on canopy size.
  • Field crops: 150–200 L/ha.
  • Vegetable crops: 300–400 L/ha.
  • Vineyards: 600–800 L/ha.

Use a standard sprayer. Prepare the working solution immediately before application: fill the tank two-thirds with water, then add the components one at a time while mixing and allow each to disperse before adding the next.

Precautions and compatibility

Do not treat wet leaves or apply during drought. Stop treatments before fruits begin to develop their characteristic color. At air temperatures above 25 °C, use the minimum application rate.

Check compatibility before mixing with organophosphorus products. Do not mix with fertilizers. The Ukrainian product page lists WHO hazard class III (moderately hazardous).
