Quantum ZINC CHELATE 87 (Zn )EDTA

Quantum Zinc Chelate (Zn) 87 EDTA

Quantum Zinc Chelate (Zn) 87 EDTA helps prevent zinc deficiency and supply zinc to plant tissues.

Composition and properties

  • Zinc (Zn): 8.7% (87 g/L); zinc ions are chelated with EDTA.
  • pH: 6.0–8.5.
  • Density: 1.25–1.35 kg/L.

Role in plant nutrition

  • Chelated zinc supports uptake and assimilation of this micronutrient.
  • Supports carbohydrate synthesis and transport, and the synthesis of auxins and vitamins.
  • Supports seed germination, root development, antioxidant activity and stress tolerance.
  • Supports pollination and seed formation and maturation.

Application

Where zinc deficiency is identified visually or by laboratory analysis, repeat treatments at intervals of 7–10 days may be used for all crops, particularly fruit, berry and vegetable crops. Follow the crop-specific Quantum nutrition program when combining products.

Foliar spraying

Working solution volume: 200–400 L/ha for vegetable crops and 500–1,000 L/ha for vineyards and orchards. Use a standard sprayer. Prepare the solution immediately before application: fill the tank two-thirds with water and add components one by one while mixing, allowing each to disperse before adding the next. Spray in the morning or evening. The stated optimal conditions are 10–25 °C and wind speed up to 5 m/s. Avoid spraying during very low or high temperatures, intense sunlight or strong wind.

Drip fertigation

The stated concentration is 100 mL of product per 1 m³ of water.

Compatibility

The product may be applied with crop protection products and other fertilizers. Test the intended tank mixture before use: it should not form a precipitate; slight cloudiness is acceptable.
